I am going to spend some time in the scriptures. The reason is simple it’s all I have. This is the book and I plan to use it to make my case. I encourage you to read this entire chapter, but for discussion today.
Open up to Ephesians 4:31-32 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
It’s a long list of things to do, I get it. A keen observer would point out that they can’t do all these things and Jason is being a pharaisee. Loading more work on people. That would be true if the last six words weren’t there. Read it again.
Yeah, God forgave you in Christ. Since that’s true I can and you can grant forgiveness to anyone and everyone. That’s the Gospel, dear friend. We have to be kind, loving, forgiving because of Christ. Because of the Gospel.
