I’ve said it before that CRT is a remix of the “Galatian’s heresy”. Take the time to read through the controvery at Galatia and you’ll see it. For today’s discuss, however I just want to focus on chapter 5 verse 1.
Christ Has Set Us Free
5 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
We see here that Paul has a solid grasp on Matt. 11:29 and makes it clear that our yolk of bondage has been removed by Christ. The bondage of sin done to me, sin done by me, the burden of sin doggin me at every corner, the burden of knowing I’m going to have to answer for my sin before God, all of it’s been removed.
Why do you seek to be burdened down again by the yolk of bondage to “sin”? Your CRT teachers are laying huge burdens on you and others in the Body of Christ. Jesus had some harsh words for folk who did that (Matt 23:1-5). You’re already free. CRT doesn’t make that anymore true, it actually burdens and binds you again.
