Dear Woke Christian,
You’ve heard it before, but today let’s look at it again. Romans 8:1-2, let’s go!
Life in the Spirit
8 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
You’ll have to go back to chapter 7 to see what the “therefore” is therefore, but I wan to focus on one area. We can no longer be condemned. We are in Christ and our sin debt has been paid and removed. We would you want to go back into a system that heaps huge burdens on others and yourself when you could invite them into a situation where their condemnation can be removed. John 3:18 says that ALL people are under a sentence of condemnation. But in Christ that sentense has been lifted and we now walk uncondemned and free.
Why aren’t your CRT teachers declairing the freedom we have in Christ? Why aren’t they seeing the Gospel as a beautiful gift to take out to all people groups and an opportunity to grow Christ’s church?
Because their idea of freedom is tied to the world and worldly remedies and worldly systems and worldly treasures, not Christ.
I am not of this world. ~ Jesus Christ
My kingdom is not of this world ~ The Son of God
Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility with God. ~ James The Brother of Christ
Do not be conformed to this world ~ The Apostle Paul
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of lifec—is not from the Father but is from the world. ~ 1 John 2:15-16
AND LEST WE NOT FORGET:
And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. ~ Luke 4:5-6
AND FINALLY REMEMBER that satan is called the ruler of this world and the god of this age. HAVE NO PART WITH him. ~ John 12 & 2 Cor 4
