The Gospel: my enemy

Dear Woke Christian,

The axiom “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” isn’t a Biblical approach to dealing with tenuous times. I believe we all agree that we’re in some pretty tough times. But we still have to deal with them in a way that honors God and has He’s prescribed. Let me explain.

We can’t forget that Christ came to divide and even separate. His teachings will draw His sheep, but the goats and wolves will run. We see in Matthew 12:30 that Christ makes a very clear and poignant point to his followers. Notice what He says in verse 30. * I do suggest that you read the entire chapter for context.

“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. ” Whatever we do has to be done with Him. Notice how many times He says “me”.

So the question I have is how can we use tactics and methods that He’s not in support of to draw people to Him? It doesn’t work like that. So let’s abandon CRT and it’s ilk, preach God’s word and trust Him for the results.
