The Gospel: God’s power

Dear Woke Christian,

Tornados, hurricanes, solar eclipse, earth quakes, volcanos, and stars all these are pretty fascinating events in the natural, but not one of them are noted at “God’s power” on display. Twice in the Bible the term “power of God” is used and both times it’s in reference to…you guessed it, the Gospel.

Nothing else in scripture is described in this way out side of the person of Jesus Christ. This type of description shows that the Gospel is indeed powerful and even more so. It’s the ultimate embodiment of God’s power and does the greatest work.

Indeed God’s power is shown in all the various examples within nature. However, only the Gospel has this title. So it must cause you to wonder just how powerful the Gospel really is to deserve such a title? Think about the struggles we’ve discussed over time and tell me that God’s not able to set right every wrong by His wonderful power!
